There are hundreds of rewards cards in the market right now. Okay, maybe I am exaggerating but it feels that way whenever I check out my mom’s wallet. Personally, I only use the one that earns points from flights but everything else seem like a nuisance because I get to redeem the points from specific stores only.
Then comes the MVP Rewards Card for PLDT, SMART, SUN, and TNT subscribers. More than just a rewards card, this doubles up as a prepaid debit card that lets you earn points that are good as cash and lets you redeem them wherever VISA is acceptable here and even abroad. You can even use it as a tap card when paying for toll fees in the Cavite Expressway.
If you own a Paymaya card, you can add this to your account and it would share the Paymaya balance. If you do not own one yet, signing up at mvprewards.ph will create a Paymaya Virtual Card that doubles up as your rewards card. Paymaya is a reloadable prepaid card that you can top up and use for online and in-store purchases. Meanwhile, points are earned whenever you pay your bills or even when you top up prepaid accounts. Bills do not need to be in your name to be added though a Letter of Authority has to be mailed to PLDT along with the ID of the named owner to authorize your use of the account.
Apart from bill rebates, exclusive perks and discounts await MVP card holders in restaurants like Florabel’s, Corazon, Chelsea Kitchen, Empress Jade, and more. You are also entitled to waived joining fees at Anytime Fitness and discounts at David’s Salon among others.
