Starbucks ushers in the Year of the Monkey with new Espresso Confections, food items and more

2016 is just around the corner. At this point, avid coffee lovers should have collected enough stickers for a planner or two and are just about ready for new seasonal drinks! Good news – Starbucks PH ushers in the Year of the Monkey with new Espresso Confections with flavors that can only be found in the finest boxes of chocolates: the Strawberry Red Velvet Mocha and Chestnut White Chocolate Truffle.

Of course, if you prefer to snuggle at home with your loved ones, you can bask in the unique floral aroma and dark cocoa finish of the Guatemala Casi Cielo. I have to admit, I love the smell of coffee in the morning… sometimes even more than the coffee itself (LOL). With the Casi Cielo, which our friends from Starbucks were kind enough to send over for the holidays, you will definitely love both. It has this subtle and inviting aroma that goes perfectly with its lingering chocolate taste.

These new drinks and coffee blends will be available from January 8 to February 22 along with these new food items: Calamansi Cheesecake, Salted Belgian Chocolate Cookie, Katsu Roll (A tortilla filled with juicy fried chicken fillet coated with tonkatsu sauce) which I think I am gonna like, Ham and Cheese on French Baguette, Chicken Teriyaki Wrap, and Creamy Tomato Chicken Pasta.

For Starbucks Card collectors, a limited edition Lunar New Year card and a Valentine’s day card will also be released on the same period.
